Legacy Performing Arts introduces tap in the preschool program and carries it through Combo and company training for dancers in Commerce, Georgia.

Tap is built into the weekly training path.
Rather than isolating tap from the rest of a dancer’s development, Legacy combines it with age-appropriate ballet and jazz training as dancers progress through the program.

How tap progresses at Legacy.
Pre-Dance B is the first listed program to include tap, giving ages 4–5 an introduction alongside ballet and creative movement. Combo A and B continue tap together with ballet and jazz.
Pre-Company dancers ages 10 and up have a dedicated Tuesday tap class. Junior and Senior Company dancers take dedicated tap classes on Thursday as part of their company schedule.
Junior and Senior Company members are required to take at least ballet, tap, and jazz. Individual class pricing is available by request for dancers who are not participating in the full company program.

No. Legacy states that dancers are not required to be part of a company to participate in classes.
