Jazz enters the Legacy Performing Arts class path in Combo and continues through Pre-Company, Junior Company, and Senior Company training in Commerce, Georgia.

Jazz begins in Combo and builds through company training.
The current 2026–2027 program pairs jazz with ballet and tap so dancers can develop across multiple styles as they move from Combo into company-level work.

How jazz fits into the Legacy schedule.
Combo A and Combo B introduce structured jazz training alongside ballet and tap for ages 6–9. This gives dancers experience across all three core styles in one program.
Pre-Company includes a dedicated 45-minute jazz class on Tuesday. Junior and Senior Company dancers continue with longer dedicated jazz classes on Thursday.
Junior and Senior Company members are required to take at least ballet, tap, and jazz. Individual class pricing can be provided by request for dancers outside the full company package.
