Ballet training that grows with your dancer.
Ballet is a core part of the Legacy Performing Arts training path, beginning in Pre-Dance and continuing through combination and company programs in Commerce, Georgia.
Current 2026–2027 Program
A ballet path from first classes through company training.
Legacy does not treat ballet as a single age group. Ballet is built into multiple programs, allowing dancers to progress from introductory movement into increasingly focused technical training.

Where ballet fits in the Legacy program.
Pre-Dance A and B introduce ballet at ages 2–5. Combo A and B continue ballet alongside tap and jazz for ages 6–9.
At age 10 and up, Pre-Company includes a dedicated 45-minute ballet class on Tuesdays. Junior and Senior Company dancers continue ballet as part of their required company training. Senior Company also includes pointe.
Junior and Senior Company members are required to take at least ballet, tap, and jazz. Dancers do not have to be part of a company to participate in classes, and pricing for individual classes is available by request.

Do beginners take ballet at Legacy?
Yes. Ballet begins in the Pre-Dance program and is included in Combo classes before company-level training.
Is ballet required for company dancers?
Junior and Senior Company members are required to take ballet, tap, and jazz.
Does Legacy offer pointe?
Senior Company includes a 30-minute pointe class on Monday.
Can I ask about ballet without joining company?
Yes. The studio states that company participation is not required to participate in classes, and individual class pricing is available by request.
